First definitely is It puts you right in the head of a character who may or may not be reliable.

Third person is my favorite, for sure. I do read a lot of first person narratives though.

I'm fine with everything but I think I like alternating person and unreliable narrator the most. Stream of consciousness too, but it can be too challenging/difficult if it's really disorderly and unstructured.

Third person I tried reading chic lit with 1st person and it didn't have the same effect for me as a 3rd person book would read.

I'd think different genres, certain POVS would work better.

While I like the first person narrative to get into the heads and feelings of a character it often limits the view of the world. So sometimes I prefer third person from several POVs.

Same here. But for me a lot of times it depends on the book and how it's written. But for hte most part I do like 1st person more. Feel like you form a better connection with the character.

It's very rare but I liked when it switches between first person narrative with each chapter. That way you still get to know the mind of the characters but also see a broader view of the world.

I do like when it's first person but it's written as third person. Like the Harry Potter books.
