What is on your book wishlist for the holidays?
I've just spent yet another busy morning at work writing mine out to pass around to family and friends so they can't get it wrong and I was just wondering which books everyone else was hoping to get for christmas.
Mine are: Abarat: Days of Magic, Nights of War - Clive Barker A Woman of Independence - Kirsty Sword-Gusmao Catch 22 - Joseph Heller Cloudstreet - Tim Winton One Crowded Hour - Tim Bowden Slow Travel - Mari Rhydwen __________________

I want Harry Potter 5. My sister owns it but she is taking forever to read it so it would be nice to have that book for myself

This is really silly but I can't remember the names of the books that I asked for. But I know they were really good ones--guess I'll be surprised when I open my presents.

I've got a list of over 100 with some fantasy, romance, and western novels in it. I'm building up my collection, trying to collect series and such. They're all books that I've previously read but don't have.

I would really like the 50th Anniversary Edition of Lord of the Rings and a few more volumes of Uncle John's Bathroom Readers.

I also want Abarat, Days of Magic, Nights of War by Clive Barker, but I'm waiting for the paperback.
+ Kissing the Rain by Kevin Brooks (again, waiting for paperback) + The Basic Eight by Daniel Handler (and any of his Lemony Snicket books are, of course, more than welcome) + Astonishing Splashes of Colour by Clare Morrall For some reason, that's all I can remember at the moment. __________________

I'm holding out for the paperback of Days of Magic, Nights of War too. I just borrowed it from the library, so I'm all set for now. I did get The Essential Clive Barker for Chanukah though.
There are so many books I forgot to add to my list that I keep adding now. My birthday is in a few months, so I just keep the same list on file and reuse it. __________________
