My brother really likes Viking and Greco-Roman stuff.

I usually like Victorian, or Edwardian.

I did wonder afterwards if that was a bit too broad in scope. In answer to your question though...

Historical romance and Georgian/regency novels. Although you could easily enough bolt on the Victorian and Edwardian periods i suppose. In addition WWII and Ancient Rome also have significant prominence on the bookcase shall we say.

If anyone likes science fiction however i would certainly recommend a book called Darkship Thieves by Sarah A Holt. A Sci-fi/adventure/romance set on a future-Earth to be exact.

There really are so many interesting periods of time (much more intriguing than nowadays, I have to say.)

You are a romance nut, Jen hehe

I've gotten out of it more recently, but I get what you mean. I hardly read any YA as a kid or teenager (there were a few exceptions), I started reading them at 21 or so. However, I've gotten so annoyed with the market this year.

Science fiction and any book of adventures, I think stories of adventures don't fit on only one genre. It might be fantasy, it might be a novel...

Agreed about that. Just like unless it's pure romance (not really a plot just about the 2 characters getting together) it can be put in most other genres too.

I love fantasy, Harry Potter is the best. I like Narnia too. and I like a series of unfortunate events by Lemony snicket too but it's not fantasy though

Thriller, murder mysteries, autobiographies, with a little fantasy now and then.
