| hi sher.....yea, i've been here for a bit now, not everyday, but as often as i can! gaaaaah the love in twilight is just  worthy, and i am still waiting impatiently for my friend to return it  and like i said earlier, my friend had better not have messed up my dog eared passages i always want to say that new moon is my least favorite, but the reunion that SM gaves us was worth all the Edward-lessness of the book IMO. i can't even begin to count how many times i read "the truth", and eclipse is wonderful as well. __________________ ~It's simple...What comes around, goes around.~ ♥ "The people that love us, they know what's real, and that's all we care about." ♥ “These days....everyone is just waiting for me to fxxx up. | eclipse is my favorite of the series, so far.  i think it's the dynamics of the characters and we get to learn more about some of the cullens. i've never reread any books before. but the Twilight Series is obviously a different case. __________________ ~ Val aka Victoria ~ | |||

| we analyzed the preface PREFACE I'D HAD MORE THAN MY FAIR SHARE OF NEAR DEATH experiences, it wasn't something you ever really got used to. It seemed oddly inevitable, though, facing death again. Like I really was marked for disaster. I'd escaped time and time again, but it kept coming back for me. Still, this time was so different from the others. You could run from someone you feared, you could try to fight someone you hated. All my reactions were geared toward those kind of killers - the monsters, the enemies. When you loved the one who was killing you, it left you no options. How could you run, how could you fight, when doing so would hurt that beloved one? If your life was all you had to give your beloved, how could you not give it? If it was someone you truly loved? There are two option 1. The wedding is starting to begin and since alice cannont see werewolves in her vision she doesnt see what is going to oocur. What is going to occur is that jacob the werewolve comes and crashes the wedding and he attacks edward because he doesnt want edward to marry her/change her. Then bella gets in between their vicious outbreak in order to stop it and because of jacob being a new werewolve he lose control and accidentally attack bella(what edward keeps warning bella about) and thats why in the preface she talks about not being able to fight back because she loves him. 2. Edward is tuning bella into a vampire and he loses control because her blood is too irresitable and sweet. | |||

When I first read New Moon I couldn't put it down. All I wanted was for them to get back together but the story seemed very disjointed to me, Bella recovering with Jake's help and Bella saving Edward. My second read through made me see it completely differently. The part with Jake flew by, like a blink of an eye, (and I bonded with Bella in a much more personal way)...and then Edward was back. I was much more able to see how it was about the degree to which Edward loved Bella and what he was willing to give up than about the pain he caused her, which was all I could see the first read through. In Eclispe I loved learning about the other Cullens, especially Rosalie who has been such a resentful mystery to me. Quote:

| i've said it before.. but i saw who was casted in the movie before i started reading the books.. so i think my mind molded what i thought the characters would looks like around who was already casted for the characters. i wish i hadn't done that..  __________________ ~ Val aka Victoria ~ | |||

| A gf of mine did the same. If you want to know how out of touch I am/was (go ahead and laugh at me, you have my permission ) I remember reading about something called twilight but I thought it was a TV show and I'm not a fan of vampires so I never paid any attention. | yeah, the clerk at Barnes & Noble, when i bought Twilight told me how incredibly popular the series was. i had no idea. he told me it was going to be a tv show, and i was like "oh i thought it was going to be a movie" and he said that the fandoms were having blood drives or something to support the show.. i don't know how true that is, but it definitely made me realize what an awesome-crazy fandom Twilight has! i jumped in with two feet and haven't looked back since! __________________ ~ Val aka Victoria ~ | |||
