O darn it. I messed it up a little. I started the thread going a week ahead.

Quote:
January 12: Resolutions/Hopes for 2021 (bookish or not!)

January 19: Books I Meant to Read In 2020 but Didn’t Get To (You could take this opportunity to tell us what’s left on your seasonal TBRs from last year. Or books you were super excited about and then you didn’t get to them.)
Shall we do the one we missed? Resolutions/Hopes for 2021

Mine is to read more of my TBR both physical and digital.

I'd like to make a dent in my pile of doom!

My resolution is to finish the print books under my desk. I don't know if it can realistically happen but I would at least like one pile to be gone.

Should I start Outlander next or is the book too long and I should go with a shorter one?

Hahaha, the pile of doom So relatable

My resolutions are:
- to try and read at least 35 books
- to try and keep my TBR contained at max 200 books (currently at 201 so I need to pick up my reading pace )
- to keep checking out new formats/genres. Last year I've discovered audiobooks on Spotify, so I'm going to keep that going. I've also read the most non-fiction I've ever read in 2020 and loved a lot of them. This year I want to try and read some novellas or short story collections and poetry and see if I enjoy it.
- read books from BIPOC authors or books set in a different culture than my own.
- and last but not least: finish War and Peace

I am afraid to add up all the books I have on my TBR list. I should utilize the library more.

Ooooh I should do this especially if I am not sure if I want to own a book but still want to read it.

And so many of those books are still on your TBR, right?

If only it hadn't taken me all of Jan to read. I don't think it being just OK helped.
