I'm looking forward to posting here a lot.
I've haven't really liked her later books as much. McNaught seems to have become more like Jayne Ann Krentz or Nora Roberts or the other writers who are writing the popular mystery/thriller/romance. I much prefer her older stuff. Oh well. If you do read it, I'd like to know your opinion on it.

Right now I'm reading Flirting with Pride & Prejudice : Fresh Perspectives on the Original Chick-Lit Masterpiece. It's got some stuff by some authors that I've read and enjoyed: Jo Beverly, Mercedes Lackey, Theresa Medieros, and some others that I can't remember their names right now. LOL

Well I only recently have been getting into them and I must say I am an avid reader these days and I am addicted to hers. I like all of your recommendations and will check some out at the library

Hi JENNY. I've read plenty of Sandra Brown. I know I haven't read everything by her but I've read alot of stuff. Right now, I like her smaller books, like 22 Indigo Place and Long Time Coming and the Texas! trilogy. I pretty much have only read her older stuff.

JENNY, I've also read a few of Brown's older books. My favorite is Led Astray.

I started reading On the Way to the Wedding by Julia Quinn and I think the people who have been disappointed with the last few books in the Bridgerton series will probably be really happy with this one.

I finished the advanced reader copy of On the Way to the Wedding and for me, it was the best book in the series since Romancing Mister Bridgerton. In fact, it's my second favorite book in the series to RMB. I hope the people who have been disappointed with the last few Bridgerton books love this one like I did. Julia Quinn is so amazing! I definitely recommend that Quinn fans and Regency era historical readers get to the bookstore on 6/27 to get this book. I will probably buy a copy too, even though I have the ARC.

Quinn has some special Bridgerton news that she's announcing on 5/15 on her web site too.

Now I'm reading Warprize by Elizabeth Vaughan. I thought I'd try one of the Tor Paranormal Romance line books and see how it is. I can get a few of them from the library if I decide to continue reading them. I've heard pretty much the same things about both Tor's paranormal/fantasy romances and the Harlequin Lunas- some are great, some are okay, and some stink.

I picked up Jennifer Crusie's latest. It's a collaboration with Bob Mayer called Don't Look Down. It didn't look terribly interesting but I do enjoy Crusie's writing so I'm giving it a shot.

I've been hearing great things about As You Desire by Connie Brockway so I requested it from PaperBack Swap and I got it today. I can't wait to start reading it. Has anyone else here read it or anything else by Brockway? I'm finally in a romance reading mood!

I picked up an anthology called Faerie Magic (I think). It has a story by Mary Jo Putney and Jo Beverly among others.

So Julia Quinn's big Bridgerton announcement is that she is going to be releasing e-book second epilogue novellas that take place several years after the series. The first two are for The Viscount Who Loved Me and It's in His Kiss and they will be available June 6. She will be writing them for all eight books, eventually.
