I read Queen of Babble I liked it, but it's not one of my favorites. But a movie would be awesome!! Specially with Kristen Bell in it

I just finished reading Queen of Babble Gets Hitched. Absolutely loved it!

Was anyone else surprised at the way things turned out in the end? I was looking on Meg's website and apparantly the plot is loosely based on her real life! Thought that was cool!

I'm reading All American Girl 2 - Ready or Not now, I'm really enjoying it, I think she's talking about sex there better than in Queen Of Babble or How To Be Popular, for example

I didn't know that, my friend told me she read somewhere that Every boy's got One was based on her marriage

That's so awesome that Queen of Babble is going to be made into a movie! I haven't read the 2nd book but will soon. Right now I am reading the book Size 12 is not fat. I'm enjoying it so far.

I think perhaps she incorporates a lot of her life experiences into her novels.

The ending of the QoB triology definately surprised me though - but I was happy with the way things worked out. This is what Meg had to say when a reader wrote in asking her if the ending was something she had planned from the very beginning:

Meg, did you know what was going to happen at the end of Queen of Babble Gets Hitched before you wrote the whole series? Because it really surprised me. Yes, and so did my editor and agent, because I pitched it to them before I even wrote Book One. It shouldn’t have surprised you too much, there were a lot of clues from the beginning. It’s based on a semi-true story, you know, so I missed a lot of those clues, too, right along with Lizzie.

And here's where she mentions that the book is based on her own life (sort of):

Meg, where did you get the inspiration for Lizzie Nichols and her story? Lizzie's story is eerily similar to my own…except that I was never a wedding gown restorer, engaged to a prince, or friends with an heiress (my grandmother isn't an alcoholic, either, and I don't have any sisters. My father is dead in real life, and my mom isn't anything like Lizzie's mom). I did move to New York right after college, though. And I have a very hard time keeping my mouth shut.
