Also, Meg Cabot's website has been quite extensively updated. I like the new format a lot! [img]smilies/smile.gif[/img] Her FAQ has also been updated, and includes a link to the Princess Diaries book covers from foreign countries. I think a lot of them are cuter than the ones we have here!

Oh - and FYI, the PB version of "Princess in Love", the hardcover "Princess in Waiting" and the hardcover "Princess Lessons" are all being released March 25. [img]smilies/smile.gif[/img]

Yay! I [img]smilies/love.gif[/img] the Princess Diaries! I think this might be an old thread, but I'm posting anyway. I can't wait for the 5th book! When it comes out, I think the 4th will be in soft-cover so I can buy it. Then I'll get the 5th at the library, and wait for IT to come in soft-cover to buy it!!!

The old book usually comes out in paperback when the new book comes out in hardback (spring).

Maybe your library has it so that you can read it before then? [img]smilies/smile.gif[/img]

Sounds like Meg Cabot's really busy in the upcoming year... she's got All-American Girl 2, Boy Meets Girl (sort of sequel to The Boy Next Door), Princess Diaries 5, Teen Idol and some other stuff... those 4 are the ones I'm most excited about. I'm not really a fan of her Mediator series, or her adult historical novels. Meg's definitely my guilty pleasure author for good teen/romantic comedy-esque fluff. [img]smilies/biggrin.gif[/img]

Thanks for the link. [img]smilies/smile.gif[/img] After seeing the list and looking on Amazon, I'm betting that it's the semi-sequel to "All-American Girl". Reason: we know she's writing a sequel to it that's coming out 2004, and there's nothing called "All-American Girl II: Statue of Liberty" or anything like that on there. Plus, it's coming out in July, which is in summer, like All-American Girl did.

2004 does sound busy. Though, I don't know how much writing she had to do for the Engagement Calendar. [img]smilies/wink.gif[/img]

2-in-1 novels, how-to books, calendars, movies ... Meg/Princess Diaries is becoming quite the franchise. [img]smilies/biggrin.gif[/img]

Rachel, about "Teen Idol"... I found an interview Meg apparently did, and she mentions a character named Jen from "Teen Idol". So maybe it's a sort-of-sequel to All-American Girl that's not about Sam? Here's the link. [img]smilies/biggrin.gif[/img]
