My sister has been reading Twilight and i've kind of been reading the EB bits over her shoulder, and I really love the early stuff in their relationship. The conversations between them, esp leading upto their first convo after she knows what he is are particularly my fave. Its all just so adorable. I love how she isn't scared/shocked by anything he says, and it annoys him. lol.

If her writing is so bad. Why was it published AND widely distributed?

The people who are saying she's a horrible writer... I bet they're just bitter because they think their works are a masterpiece but they can't get theirs published.

I'm new to this thread but you all seem pretty nice

I just finished Twilight yesterday (it's so hard to get the books where I live) and I absolutely loved it. I can't wait to read the next one.

Although i'm disappointed, I want to get used to him in the role now. So no more watching vids with other randoms as Edward. Just like I cant watch any vids that dont have Kristen as Bella.

I love that clip of Robert in Vanity Fair. Very Edward-ish. Haha, I guess I'm easily persuaded. At first when I heard the news, I was kind of "eh" about it, and now I'm feeling pretty good about the decision.

See the thing that throws me off is Roberts voice, I pictured Edward as having a manly deep voice, not like Roberts... So watching that video it was like "Edward? Can't see it." But I'm trying.

Another thing I love about her writing, is her use of words for the Cullens, Cause there all so proper & old fashioned talkers, which I love... Some of the words they use it's just so early 1900's espically with Edward & Alice.

Yeah, I think people misjudge him as nothing more than a pretty boy (because of his Cedric role) but I personally like the way he acts and he IS good-looking. Well, beauty is really subjective (??) but he is considered to most very handsome (those lips! those piercing eyes!).

These people need to get a grip. They say that about JK Rowling too and it's just so ridiculous.

It's so funny because I was already used to my own Edward and Bella but when Robert was cast... I was skimming through the books again last night and I already picture both actors for the parts - and they absolutely fit.

Im thesame with SusanXG... I never had anyone in mind so this casting news is very open to me. Aww Kristen and Robert.. How cute.

I think Robert will be perfect imho. He has that aristocratic look into him, like a gallant prince or something.

The thing with Stephenie's writing style is that it is simple and direct to the point. Not too flashy or too pretentious. I like the way she writes.

Oh by the way, are you guys liking the idea that there will be a movie? Some people that I talked to are not that excited with the upcoming film.

I know some people aren't so happy, becuase they think that it might ruin the whole series, but I personaly can't wait!
