I don't think the books will be different. I can't wait for Bella to become a vampire because it will be so much more interesting. There's so much that Stephenie can write about the two with her a vampire... the constant struggle she will have to not feed on humans. There realtionship now that he doesn't constantly have to worry about killing her. Her realtionship with Alice. How she will fit in with the rest of the Cullens. If Rosalie will finally be her friend. (It's not like she can hate her forever) So theres just so much that can be told with Bella a vampire. Not really that much left with her as a human, because come on how many times are we gonna have to hear that Bella wants to become a vampire, or that Edward wont sleep with her because he doesn't want to kill her, or Jacob & her realtionship. So this will be fresh & new so I think it's better for the story & for her if she became a vampire. But thats just me.

I can definitely see some positives about Bella becoming a vampire that you guys have pointed out. I think I've considered those options as well and it's hard because sometimes it feels like I'm stuck between a rock and a hard place, going back and forth between what I think would be best for Bella in the long run. I definitely think they should be together forever because I think I would just DIE if they were as far apart from one another as they got in New Moon, but I'm also curious as to how Bella would handle the new transformation. I trust Edward enough to where he could control her and tame her temptations for blood, so I really think she'll be OK, although it will be interesting to see her struggle. Stephenie Meyer tends to use dreams and dream sequences a lot throughout the series (something I love to do when writing my fics), so I'd love to see what she writes for Breaking Dawn. Just how she handles the dream sequences throughout the course of Bella's tranformation and afterwards would be really, really interesting to see, like an in-depth look at Bella's inner psyche. I also want them to eventually sleep together and I'd even love to see them have children someday, although I'm not sure if that's possible, even when Bella does become a vampire! But I can dream, right?

McAwesome - Yeah, I'm a HUGE Eliza fan! She's like my idol and I hope to meet her someday! I've seen her in both Buffy and Tru Calling as well as some of her other movie projects. TC would have to be my fav Eliza project and I LOVE writing TC fanfics! I'm also considering writing some for Twilight, but I'm not sure yet. I'm also an aspiring novelist/screenwriter, so I'd love to be the next J.K. Rowling/Stephenie Meyer/Joss Whedon. HA. And meet Eliza! Yeah...

I'm 50-50 on the topic of Bella becoming a vampire. I want her to be a vampire but at the same time, I feel major loss at the thought of her losing her humanity. For one... I wanted them to have babies.

And there's the fact that she's an only child. I feel a bit sad for her parents to lose their only child and not see her grow up and have her own kids... The greatest loss a parent can experience is for the parent to outlive the child, IMO.

And one of the major drawbacks I have for her becoming a vampire: She's not gonna narrate anymore. I don't want the sudden character POV shift. It's... disturbing to say the least because I'm already used to Bella's quirky narration. Am I gonna be the only one who'll miss the:

Stupid, Volvo owner. ??

But I do agree that in terms of progress, Bella becoming a vampire will definitely be a go.

Question: Who do you guys want to narrate the next ones if not Bella?

According to the PCs over at the Lexicon vampires can't have babies this includes the males as well. They are frozen in time in their body fluids are replaced with venom.

I actually want to read a book through Jacob's narration. I heard Stephenie wants to write Bree's story. I'm not interested in that. I also want to read about how Marcus lost his wife, and how Aro massacred a whole town for messing up his plans to change Jane and Alec at later date.

I hated the last chapter of Eclipse with the Jacob narration and I'm also not fond of the first chapter of Midnight Sun with Edward's perspective, even though I love him t just feels weird to me but i might get used to it when the whole book comes out

I always thought Bella should become a vampire hardcore until Eclipse when i started to not like the idea a bit...so now im 50-50 too...I dont like the fact that she wont be human and vulnerable anymore lol...and the family aspect...she has to abandon everyone else in her life and she wont grow old...its very drastic but at the same time if its the only way she can be with Edward forever then i guess it's the right thing

Nice points people! I am enjoying reading this thread.

I can see that with Bella turning into a vampire we will be introduced to a different kind of world and struggles that she’ll encounter. And this is very interesting to explore.

But I still would really like her to stay human. Her wants of being a vampire is sacrificial for her part but I see it as selfishness. Why does she want to be a vampire in the first place? For Edward? For love? For “being strong” and helping out when there are dark forces attacking? (Which is really admirable and not entirely selfish but…) At one point she even stated that with her being a vampire she will be “beautiful.” (I don’t remember the book where she stated this though. And it might be the wrong context.) How about her mom and dad. I guess I see it the way Rosalie explained – Bella has everything. She has the choice. Her choice of staying human will be the ultimate sacrifice and I am all for it. Maybe I am just attracted to the forbidden

Actually, I am hoping that instead of Bella being a vampire, Edward will magically be human hehe…

I am excited to “get to know” the Denalis more. And also see whoever the girl Jacob would imprint on.

I also like an Edward narration so bad. And more of the Volturis too - their past and how they came to be.

The book was Eclipse. The only wanting to be beautiful comment made me uneasy. I think Bella's main problem when it comes to her looks is that she doesn't think she is pretty enough. What's to say that will change after she becomes a vampire? She might find herself to be too plain looking even for a vampire. She needs to learn to stop comparing herself to everyone else.

I still think Bella should become a vampire. Unfortunately I can't give me a whole reason because it goes way over the religious side and it wouldn't be appropriate for FF. In a short summary, I think Bella has done everything she's supposed to have done with the living. Look at how many near death experiences she has had some coming to Forks, and they didn't disappear when Edward did. I think regardless if she does to say human or not, one or another that girl will die. I also think Bella should become a vampire, because I don't think vampires are doomed to walk alone for all eternity. If things went according to plan Edward would have bitten her, Alice would have seen it in a vision, and they would have stopped him before he drained her dry. She would have became a vampire, and most likely fell in love with Edward. Then there are all the other times. Sure if this was only a one time thing I wouldn't think much of it, but it wasn't. I consider that as life, the universe, a higher power, etc trying to tell you something.

I think Edward deserves someone who is his equal, who he doesn't have to constantly worry about dying all the time. I don't think he'll find another vampire to fit that role, he hasn't it yet. I think that only person is Bella.

I do find it sad that she will have to leave her family behind. I'm more worried about Charlie than Renee though.

As much as I loved reading Eclipse, I'll admit I was extremely disappointed with the epilogue because it was in Jacob's POV. I just think Stephenie should have stuck to Bella's POV and not changed on us so quickly. It was too sudden and unexpected, although I think the letter at the end of the epilogue was a nice touch. However, it would've been interesting to see that part explored in a different way. I'm not quite sure how, though. I hope that Stephenie doesn't plan on having Breaking Dawn narrated from a different character's POV, especially Jacob's. Even Edward's would be hard for me to read just because we've all gotten used to Bella's quirks and mannerisms throughout a series of 3 books and changing gears now would just seem totally pointless to me. Especially if she IS going thru with the vampire transformation, I want to know her inner thoughts, feelings, motivations while going thru an experience that will change the life she knows forever.

Okay I've heard Stephenie say that Breaking Dawn will be in Bella's POV, but I've also heard it will be into different POVs. All I know is that the wedding better be in her POV. I can understand if she has the transformation in Edward's POV though.

That, and the fact that I read on the Lexicon that vampires only fall in love once. So, Edward fell in love with Bella and will love her and only her, for eternity. If she were to leave him, he would continue his life never finding another love.
