Yeah, I could see the Volturi showing up towards the end of the book.

Why would the werewolves or anybody want to go up against the Cullens.(Yes, totally biased opinion.)

Obviously the werewolves aren't as aware of how utterly sexy the Cullens are. It just irritates me because they are, in essence, GOOD vampires. And how can you not like Carlisle? He's the nicest thing ever.

I know. The werewolves just care about the fact that they're vampires. They know nothing else about them.

I love Carlisle. He is the nicest person ever.

Who is your favorite Cullen besides Edward?

I think Alice is my favorite. It's so hard -not- to like her. And the idea of her and Jasper is just so cute! Although, I do find a fancy for brawny Emmett...but I don't think I can say he's a favorite because he's not been a major player hardly.

Cullens >>>> Werewolves. LOL.

Yay! Alice is my favorite, too. Alice and Jasper together so cute. I'm assuming you read the first chapter from Midnight Sun. They were too cute in that. Brawny Emmet definitely has something about him. No, he's not a major characher, but I do appreciate any scene he is in.

Yes, the Cullens triumph over the werewolves anyday.

Okay, so I am so joining in on this thread!

Twilight and New Moon are definitley my obsessions. I have a friend who is totally into vampires, and she received Twilight for Christmas. She read it, and after three days of convincing me to read it, I finally caved in.

I love her for pushing me to read it!

After I finished it in two days (I could not put the sucker down), I went straight to the nearest bookstore and got New Moon. I could not get enough! Stephenie is a wonderful writer, and she seriously pushed my dream to become a writer even more. I finished New Moon in one day (obsessive, I know, lol) and now I am so unpatient for Eclipse!

I remember reading Twilight in 2 or 3 days last year. My friend was amazed because she didn't peg me for a thick-book-reader (no idea why).

I haven't finished New Moon, yet though. My mind is just everywhere these days and I can hardly get into any book. I think I'm reading 4 at once.

Lovelovelove these books, though.

More people. I read Twilight in a day and a half and read New Moon in a day. I was obsessed. This was the first vampire-ish book I've read and I was blown away. I just remember someone talking about it and I had to look it up.

Silver reflection, you should definitely find a way to finish New Moon or just jump ahead to any part where Edward is involved. LOL!

I loved Twilight and New Moon.
I think my favorite part of New Moon were the blank months. I know it sounds wierd but I got an actual chill as I kept turning the pages and there was nothing.

Emily - Totally agree! I thought that was definitely clever and added a great sense to the book instead of if she had written in Bella's narration that the months passed and nothing happened.

Kathy - It almost doesn't surprise me that these were the first vampire books you've read just because SM always said these were "vampire books for people who don't like vampire books." I think it's important cause it's not really all about Edward being a vamp, but about the love story between Edward/Bella.

Chloe - Hi! Welcome to the thread. I know how you're feeling. I'm reading like three different books right now and I find it extremely hard to concentrate on one book at a time. I was doing that while I was re-reading Twilight and finally put everything else down to finish Twilight.

paper_crane_lovers - I was reluctant to read it just because...well, I'm not sure why! But I finally gave in and loved it. I finished New Moon the day I got it from Amazon, I couldn't put it down. It was weird. And welcome to the thread! XD

Yes, the love story between Edward and Bella. What a wonderful story it is. The vampire stuff is just some extra goodness.

I want my Eclipse now. I'm definitely getting it the first day it comes out and I'm not going to put it down until I'm done. Whatever else is going on that day is just going to have to wait.

Ahhhh, Eclipse. I'm so unpatient for it!

I need something to keep my mind on the Twilight series until then. Haha.
I roleplay a lot, and Twilight should definitley be made into a roleplay soon.

How can you love a fictional character SO MUCH?! I loooveee Edward. It's crazy!

Hahahaha. I role play and I made my friend read the book so he could play a version of Edward. Plus, my friend is just like Edward (without the immortal vampy-ness of course). It's fun. We should definitely try to set up a play somewhere. Maybe LJ or something. Haha.

Boo! My friends despise reading. So, I doubt I could get them to read the book. They hate hearing me talk about it as is.

Every time I see a silver Volvo, I think of Edward. Weird? Yes. But do I care? No.
