For the record I did some research and the new book coming out is actually a joining of Stephen King and his pen name Richard Bachman. Who knows what we're in store for! It's called Blaze and is about a man who with the help of a partner kidnaps a baby who is heir to a load of money. I believe something happens to the partner and Blaze who is 'slow' has to deal with the baby alone. I believe I read about this book in the book On Writing, as one of the unpublishable novels that were written. I guess he took a second look and thought with some cleaning up on his part it would work.

So far, I've only read the Dark Tower series(absolutely loved it) and his 4 Minutes Past Midnight collection. From those, my favorite would have to be the Langoliers story, with Wolves of Calla and Wizard and Glass coming in a tie for a close second.

was the final book worth reading? I'm just having so much trouble getting through it..it isn't holding my interest like the other books in the series

It was worth it to me... I really didn't see the ending coming. The last few pages are kind of hard to read, right up until that ending.

I'm a huge Stephen King fan.
IT scared me, just like everybody else, hehe.
I'm currently finishing reading Misery.

Yeah, I see what you mean. It's not scary, but I wouldn't want to come across somebody like her.

Stephen King is one of my favorite Authors. A few of my favorite books of his are "Misery", "Thinner", "The Shining", "It" and "Dreamcatcher".

The ending is depressing!

Do you prefer the books or the movies or both?

"It" is definitely number one with me. It was the first Stephen King book I read!

IT is my favorite, book and movie. Most of the time I prefer the books, but the movies are so good too. I don't often find that, but with Stephen king I do.

Usually the movies are pretty close to the books, they don't change a lot, but sometimes the movies help explain things.

But the best book to movie other than "It" was "The Shining".
