I quite liked her.
 I think maybe in this one Aelin gets her throne back and then the last one will have something to do with Maeve the Fae queen. I don't think we've seen the last of her. |

Yeah, we probably haven't, but the 6th one is still Aelin's story, so if she gets her throne back in this one, wonder what the last one will be about. Maeve trying to take it from her?
I wonder what Empire of Storms is gonna happen with the boys, Dorian and Chaol, and those characters. But there better be scenes between Aelin and the boys. |

That's what I was thinking. At this point, I don't think it would take two books to defeat whatever his name is, the one breeding the dragon-witch army and free her continent and get her throne back. Then book number 6 will probably be a sort of show-down between Maeve and Aelin. That's my best guess.
I'm sure we'll see more of the boys. I never really liked Chaol and I don't even remember what happened to him at the end of QoS. But I definitely want to see more of Dorian. He has a kingdom to rebuild, after all. And I'm really curious to explore more of his magic. Dorian and Manon. I think I can ship them together. I was really annoyed when he was with that nurse and I was low-key glad when she died. But I think I can ship him with Manon.  |

I just want Dorian to have happiness, so I was happy for him when he had found it... and then she died
 I love Chaol, always have, so more of him I'm happy about, so I'm thrilled we're getting a novella for him. |

I mean, I want him to be happy too. He deserves it, poor baby. But I just didn't feel it with that nurse. It felt more like he was lonely and scared and desperate and I just didn't like their relationship.
He deserves someone who can be the fire to his ice or something. Sorscha was just... lukewarm. Eh, I found him kind of boring. All that forced morality has never been my thing. I prefer the morally ambiguous. Much more interesting. I don't dislike him or anything, I just don't really care for him. |

Well, maybe she was who he needed at that time, but the way she died... well, NOBODY deserves that, well, except for villians |
