I had issues with the one Sabrina Jeffries book I've read too. I read After the Abduction recently and it annoyed me. I like a romance to have more depth than just the two characters kissing, then fighthing, then kissing, then fighting, then a love scene, then fighting.

Soz: That's cute! I wouldn't be able to read with any noises! It would lose my contentration.

I really wanna get back into reading but I've had so many appointments I haven't been able to.
Tina---
I love the recommendations I have gotten so far. I will have to check out some of Sala's work now.
I am just a naturally fast reader, I get so many books from the library and I just can't wait to start them. i haven't ever been like this but now I can't seem to stop reading. I figure it's better than reality t.v.
Onionroach--- Yeah, I really didn't like this one. I think she is a great writer and I am liking "Remember when" so far but UY was just not my style, and very hard to get into.

Jenny I think Remember When is so much better than Only You. I really like the characters in Remember When.

Soz, I just thought the Jeffries book was so blah and ordinary and nothing original at all. Plus, I didn't care for the characters.

I finished The Misted Cliffs by Catherine Asaro. It's a romantic fantasy and I really like the romance in this one than in The Charmed Sphere where the romance was really, really rushed for sake of story. I can't wait to read the next book.

Yep, that's how I felt about the Jeffries book I read too. I might try the other books in the series, but if I don't like them, I probably won't read anything else by her.

I saw on Amazon that The Dawn Star by Asaro is out now, so I'll probably buy it this weekend. I always buy Asaro's books as soon as they come out in trade or mass market paperback (so I have all of her books but her most recent hardcover now). My favorite Aronsdale story of Asaro's isn't one of the books, it's the novella Moonglow in Charmed Destinies. I liked Jarid and Iris better than the couples in The Charmed Sphere and The Misted Cliffs. She says she would like to write another book in the series about them and their children.

I'm back to skimming my Nora Roberts Silhouette books. I feel really out of touch with the romance community because I've only liked one Roberts book I've read so far, plus the first J. D. Robb book.

I'm kind of over Nora Roberts. I'll still eventually pick up her latest stuff but, to me, it's the same old same old. There are some older stuff that I just really love by her, though. I read one JDRobb book and it was okay. I didn't like the main female, though. She just annoyed me to no end so I didn't read anymore of her books.

I thought Roberts would be better somehow since she's so popular, but her stuff published by Harlequin and Silhouette seems rather predictible and repetitious. As for the In Death series, I like Eve but I can't stand Rourke (which I know must make me a freak since he's so many people's favorite romance hero of all time). But then, I have only liked one of Roberts/Robb's heroes so far.

I'm reading The Dawn Star now and I like it better than the other books in the series because the plot is a lot more complicated.

Are there any Julia Quinn fans still around? On the Way to the Wedding is out today. I personally highly recommend it.

Hey Everyone.

I finally decided to read A Kingdom of Dreams by Judith McNaught last night. I'm
already up to chapter 7. It's so good! I am loving it so far.

Jenny: For some reason, I thought you've already read it. I haven't read EBYT, but I hope you enjoy it! Let me know if it's something like STWOM. I love, LOVE Mack and Sam (right? )

I was gonna read it but then I started Sandra Brown's "Temptation's Kiss"
I like her becasue they are easy reads, so i figured I read that first. But I am really liking EBYT, another good one from McNaught.
I still couldn't find any Julia Quinn.... I looked yesterday again. I am going to have to request them like I said. Also I am gonna look for A Kingdom of Dreams . How are you liking that??

Jenny: I'm liking it! I only read it for a short while last night, but I'm going to continue reading it. I should be done by the end of the week.

Barnes n' Nobles was having a really great summer clearance so I was able to pick up some Sandra Brown books for $1.99 each. I'm going to start reading them tonight.
