| Rachel and Tina, I hated Clayton because I thought he was abusive and I couldn't believe their HEA for a minute. I might try McNaught's contemporaries, but I don't think I will read any more of her historicals. SWJaggy, I had the bad fortune of being in the middle of reading The Mists of Avalon when Marion Zimmer Bradley died, so I think that just made the depressing nature of the book that much worse. The King Arthur story always makes me sad though anyway. I loved that Morgaine was a sympathetic character in Mists, but I still found her life very frustrating. Tina, I don't think it's weird that you like Sala but don't like McCall as much. I'm the same way with Roberts/Robb. I loved the first In Death book but I haven't liked the few Roberts books I've tried (although they were her old Harlequins, not any of her newer stuff yet). onionroach, I hope your library has Rachel Gibson's books. I loved See Jane Score- and not just because I'm a hockey nut like the author- and I liked Sex, Lies, and Online Dating. I haven't read many contemporary romances and none written all that recently, so I was kind of shocked at how hot her books are and at some of the language used. I'll probably read Simply Irresistible after I finish another library book. | |||

One things for sure, I'm glad I waited to read this book since seeing the movie back in 2001 b/c there are some adult scenes in them. __________________ The Secret Life of the American Teenager ![]() Quote of the Week: Ricky: I'd like to know where you are and what's going on if you don't mind. | onionroach, I hope you like them. SWJaggy, I was glad Morgaine at least found some happiness anyway. And I'm glad she wasn't condemned to some awful punishment like she has been in other King Arthur stories I've read and seen. I'm reading my huge pile of Nora Roberts Harlequins/Silhouettes. I don't know why I got so many of them. I've read Megan's Mate, Without a Trace, and Cordina's Crown Jewel and the only one I liked was the third one. Now I'm working on the Stanislaski series. I still have the MacGregor series and some other books from the Calhoun series to read yet too.

| I read Simply Irresistible by Rachel Gibson and it was cute and sweet, but also quite sexy and touching. I love that Gibson's characters don't fight through the whole book and that they start to like each other before they fall instantly in love. I also love her big, tough, manly heroes who turn into big softies. | |||

But, I hope you enjoy it. ![]() Where do you girls read your books? At night while you're in bed? Or in the afternoon? When I read books, I have to have peace and quiet and be in my bed. I'll stay up at the latest at 6 am to read a book. It has to be really good for me to really stay up that late. ![]() __________________ Tina"A goodbye isn't painful unless you're never going to say hello again."

I always try to get to the next chapter instead of stopping right in the middle of a sentence or the end of the page. I'm glad you enjoyed TT. | next I am going to read "Remember When" by Judith McNaught. ![]() I am reading "Until You" right now by her, but it's not her best work. I am a huge fan of everything else I have read so far of hers. __________________ Vote Jericho iconator.com avi by- lost-love

| I read whenever I can. I take books with me to my SO's bike races, I read while extending the expire time on shows on my TiVo, and I do a lot of reading during VH1 Classic's The Alternative. I've seen the videos hundreds of times, so I just have it on as background music while I read. I try to read in bed, but lately I'm too tired when I go to bed, so I've been reading on the couch while I cuddle with my snuggly cat. | |||

I have to wait a week or two in between when I finished a book... that way, I can digest it! I haven't read UY yet. I hope you enjoy it. I have RW, I have yet still to read. If you would like some recommendations, I would suggest you read Sharon Sala. Out of the Dark and Snowfall are the best ones that I've enjoyed by her so far. Soz: That's cute! I wouldn't be able to read with any noises! It would lose my contentration. ![]() I really wanna get back into reading but I've had so many appointments I haven't been able to. ![]() __________________ Tina"A goodbye isn't painful unless you're never going to say hello again."

I stoppe reading it a third of the way through and started rereading Stephanie Lauren's A Secret Love instead. Oh well. Jenny, I agree that Until You is not one of her bests.
