^ I'm not really into cowboy romance. I love paranormal, historical, and fantastical romance. I just finished reading The Dragon Lord's Daughters by Bertrice Small.

I've never read Beatrice Small, but I've heard so many good things about how great her books are.

I'm a fan of Americana romance, which sometimes has cowboys. I love the older books by Pamela Morsi and Lorraine Heath and Heart of the West by Penelope Williamson, which was recommended to me on this thread.

I haven't read the first Two Dukes of Wyndham book by Quinn; I'm waiting until the second one comes out so I can read them close together.

I haven't read a romance in a while, but I've been listening to classics on my iPod that have romances in them like Jane Austen's books and the Anne of Green Gables series.

I'm currently reading The Devil Who Tamed Her by Johanna Lindsay. This author is a first time read for me. I started it yesterday and most likely I'll finish tonight some time.

I just finished Eclipse.

Jacob and Bella have one of the best love stories ever

Words can't even describe them.

Johanna Lindsey, she is a wonderful author. I'm reading "A Man to Call My Own" by her.

I love Jacob/Bella too, so maybe you might want to stay away from the last novel, Breaking Dawn.

I love romantic books, but i haven't read one in a while!!
I have "Hot Stuff" - Janet Evanovich & Leanne Banks
May be I'll read it after my current book

Hey guys
figured you guys maybe able to suggest a few books.
Lately I am obsessed with the theme of hero and heroine knew eachother when younger, and then meeting again as adults. It's a common theme, but I like contemporary romance, and I like once where we see the heroine from when she was young, and then her point of view when older, either sequentially (sugar daddy) or by flashbacks... i don't know why, I really like to see the love as it was as a teenager, then how it is as grown woman....
anyone have any good suggestions for contemporary romances with this theme?

This is not a suggestion, but Gone With the Wind is an amazing romance novel!

I love Gone With the Wind.

I'm looking for suggestions for some good series. I'd like historical/paranormal/fantasy, I think it would be interesting to read one that combines them, or at least 2 of them.

I could go on all day with romantic fantasy recommendations, but most of them aren't heavy on the romance. Sharon Shinn's books have almost equal fantasy to romance and Lois McMaster Bujold's Sharing Knife series also blends romance and fantasy very well, IMO.

I haven't read it yet, but I've also heard great things about C. L. Moore's Tairen Soul series. The first two books, Lord of the Fading Lands and Lady of Light and Shadows are out now and the third book comes out in about two weeks (there's a fourth book coming out next year too).

I'm still reading the Anne of Green Gables series. I've listened to the first three on my iPod and the fourth isn't in the public domain yet, so I have to read that one, then listen to the fifth one, read the sixth one, then I can listen to the last two. So right now, I'm listening to Little Women by Louisa May Alcott. I've seen the movie, so I'm spoiled and I know most people don't like how the romance works out but I love so much more about the book that I'm hoping I won't be too annoyed with the romantic aspect.

I just finished reading the The Accidental Mistress by Tracy Anne Warren it's the second book in the Mistress trilogy, the first one is called My Fair Mistress. I can't wait to read the third.

The Accidental Mistress was so playful and flirty, I loved it. IMO much better the the first book. I'm now on a hunt for more books like it. Also I need to go and buy this for myself, I was lent it and I know I'm gonna want to read it again.

Soz: Thanks for the suggestions
