Lisa Kleypas' new book, "It Happened One Autumn", is wonderful! I would recommend it to anyone. I am looking forward to the next book in the series "Devil In Winter". I am looking forward to seeing how Kleypas is going to make the villian in "It Happened One Autumn" the hero in "Devil In Winter". I know it will be wonderful.

I can't wait for payday either! So many books, so little money.

Thanks for the new thread!

I haven't read a romance in a while. I'm going to be getting Black Rose by Nora Roberts and Slow Burn by Julie Garwood from the library soon.

I've forgotten about Lisa Lleypas. I remeber hearing about the Wildflower series before she was going to publish them and wanting to read them. I'm going to have to get them whenever i get money.

I haven't read any Kleypas. What would be a good book to start with by her?

Definitely "Dreaming of You". It is one of Lisa Kleypas' best books.

I just read Brighter than the Sun by Julia Quinn and it was okay, but I liked most of the Bridgerton series better than this and the other book in the duology. But Brighter than the Sun made me laugh and smile in the end and that's exactly what I wanted, so overall I'd call it a success.

Then I read Lord of Temptation by Paula Quinn (no relation to Julia ) and I didn't like it at all. I'm not very knowledgeable about Medieval England and France, but so much about this book just didn't seem right. Plus the heroine was stubborn to the point of being stupid and the hero was too much of a muscle-bound alpha male.

I'm new to this thread and to this board, i thought I will come by since my reading mood is back.

The other day I was at the store and try to find a good book in english (I'm french) and I bought "Sam's letters to jennifer" by James Patterson. Does anyone read it?

Welcome JJolotte I haven't read that book yet. My Mom did and she enjoyed it! I hope to see you around the board more.

I haven't read any romance books for a while. I normally get in the romance mood in the summer so I'm sure I will have tons of stuff to report later!

Thank you for your welcome I think I'm going to start reading this book tonight since i didn't have time yet; I'm glad to hear that your mom enjoyed it, I can't wait to start it, but it will probably take me a while to read it since I bought it in english and I am french.

And I will try to come to this board as much as I can

Hi everyone.

Last night, I just finished one of Judith McNaught's book, Once and Always. It was pretty good.

I really want to get her recent book, Every Breath You Take. However, it's been getting bad reviews. Has anyone here read it?

I'm looking forward to posting here a lot.

I won an ARC of Julia Quinn's final Bridgerton book! I got it in the mail today and I'll start it as soon as I finish the book I'm reading now.
