Not looking forward to the actual drive.

Had a few people ask or assume we are flying. A 10 hour drive isn't that bad. Plane tickets would of been more expensive than the gas it takes both ways. Plus then we would have to rent a car down there. Never understood people flying and then renting a car when it would be so much more expensive when it's less than a 12 hour drive.

I suppose depends how far people are coming from. But yeah, 10 hrs is nothing.

And you are planning to have few stops or just keep driving w/ 2-3 stops for food/bathroom?

Pretty much driving straight through and stopping for gas, bathroom, food, etc.
Which is also why I want to leave so early with it being 10-11 hours I don't want to get there late tomorrow night. Would feel like we wasted a day on driving.

I had thought about leaving around midnight/1 am tonight so we would get there at like 10-11am tomorrow and have a whole day. But I'm exhausted. My sleep got all screwed up last night. I feel asleep at like 7pm and slept till almost 1am and then I couldn't fall back asleep/wasn't tired. I did sleep from 7:30am to about 10:30amish.

Yeah, it better to leave much earlier bec that I would do bec you never how traffic was in each city..

I'm glad that 2017 is coming to an end in a few months! It's been a bad year for me!
