I really enjoyed Twisted. At first I didn't think SS would be able to come up with something that was fresh and new, but the new secrets are a lot more ... mature? Not like the old ones weren't, but I feel like these are in general a lot more serious in nature.
And the biggest thing for me was that all the girls felt really likable in this book. In the other books I often used to find Spencer and Hanna really annoying and stupidly selfish, but here they finally felt like more sympathetic characters. Emily was a little less whiny too (though I'm glad her something of an obsession with Alison still exists). I liked how EVEN this book was. It had a good mix of romance/angst/drama/mystery/friendship in it. And all of the characters were given interesting things to do and people to interact with. I think it's one of the most solid books in the series. I have very few complaints about it. |

You do have a thing for E/A. I actually did find Emily more intresting this book, and she's my least favorite liar so that was good.

Twisted had everything to be an incredible book. The girls were very much likeable in this one. Even Emily who is my least favorite in the books was less whiny like you said, and I felt more sympathy for her than I ever did before (I think she had it the worst in Twisted). The writing was also fast paced with lots of twists and turns at the end of every chapter. I think this was SS's best book, imo. She made a great decision in carrying on with the series, 'cause she's clearly one of the few authors nowadays with a true gift for storytelling.

Hmm we'll see soon enough
I finished the first book yesterday.. So it looks like most of book one will happen in the first episode.. like PLL.. huh? and they had to put a kiss in that scene with Ethan in the car those pictures really remind me again of Ringer: http://bilder.filmstarts.de/r_760_x/...3/19774940.jpg http://bilder.filmstarts.de/r_760_x/...3/19774941.jpg wonder if the shows will be alike.. does anybody know if there are books too? __________________
