I know, Alexandra's new book is out. I just gotta get it.
I quite like her series, as it is a little different than everything else.

It is different, considering there are many vampire books out there.

I read the Otherkin series by Eve Silver last month. It was pretty good.

That's true. If you're gonna write a vampire book.. you need to make it unique

That sounds interesting

I still have to read the last Succubus book by Richelle Mead I got a ton of books for my christmas gifts that I started but then I got that and I really wanna finish that series but gotta get this stuff outta the way.

As for Elemental Assassin Series I highly recommend it, I'm still on the fourth book (Its still on going, which is excellent, I'd cry if they stopped)

Could UF have its own thread?

They're very different and I only read UF of the two.

I'm a big fan of what I consider urban fantasy/paranormal romance novels. The Kate Daniels series by Ilona Andrews, I found is a good read because it has a strong female protagonist and a strong male character that can counter her.
The fever series, obviously.

Lust, in those ancient, obsidian eyes, offers no trace of humanity.
Doesn’t even bother trying. Savage Mac wants to invite it to come out and play. I think she’s nuts.
Nuts, I tell you

Finally finished The 5th Immortals After Dark book by Kresley Cole. It's not that I didn't like the book, I'm realizing that the stories with the vampires well I don't particularly care for too much. I love reading about the Valkyrie, which I feel are very similar to the Harpies in LotU series.

I am reading 'Halo' by Alexandra Adornetto and so far it is great. It's got a good paranormal romance going so far.

Does anybody read Lynsay Sands vampire books? I just bought several of them. I have a friend who loves them.

Ooh ok.

I just finished book 1: Eternal Rider of Larrisa Ione's "Lords of Deliverance" series. Just as amazing as her previous series.

Is book 5 in the IAD series the one with Naomi? I liked that one. It's the ones where the demons are the main characters that I didn't particularly care for (I think books 6+7 or 7+8)
