| The Notebook ending? I started to read The Notebook by Nicholas Sparks but I was never able to finish it because I had too much school work. Now I can't find it anywhere but I am dying to know what happened in the end. Can anyone give me a summary of what happens? I really didn't get that far in the book...I don't even really remember where I left off. Thank you so much. | The story in the notebook that the old man reads out to the old woman is the story of Noah and his wife Allie, who grew up to be the old man and woman. Its just so sad...your wife not remembering who you are, your life together. Allie eventually dies. The sequel is The Wedding, the story of Noah and Allie's daughter and her husband. Noah is also in that story. Stephanie, if you want more details, just PM me. I don't want to spoil the book for people who'd rather read the ending themselves [ 04-22-2004: Message edited supergirlhero ] __________________ Every song ends, but that's no reason not to enjoy the music. | |||

| Wow, I had no idea The Wedding was the sequel! I'd seen it in the bookstore, but I thought it'd be another story and was never interested, but I loved the Notebook. Now I must go read it. | |||

| Well, technically not a sequel It's another story in its own right, but yeah, it's the story of Noah and Allie's daughter. Though the story is from her husband's point of view. It's a wonderful story as well. __________________ Every song ends, but that's no reason not to enjoy the music. | |||

| The ending of The Notebook is the best part of all, it's the most touching. At least see the movie, it's fantastic! I've never read the sequel, I'm always hesitant to read a sequel in someone else's POV instead of the original narrator. | |||
