Before they were classified into this category. I just had them as mature/older YA

I'm really interested in New Adult fiction because I got a little tired of YA lately (maybe because I'm almost 24 and I'm tired of reading of teens ). Easy and Pushing the Limits are in my to read list.
I would also recommend: The Edge of Never by J.A. Redmerski Every Which Way by Calia Read Ruining Me by Nicole Reed __________________

I got pretty tired of YA too, or at least the bad/mediocre ones that saturate the market

There really is! But on a business standpoint it makes sense: tweens and teens are a huge buying market and they usually don't put the same amount of scrutiny into what they're buying compared to adults

So I'm really happy because I just finished a NA book that was surprisingly good. Spiral by Mila Ferrera. The male lead isn't borderline abusive like nearly every NA book I've read, or even a bad boy Didn't think people knew how to write that any more. And it wasn't that predictable! I still have hope for this genre.

I've read a NA series that is also Paranormal I didn't think it was NA at the time because it was a few years ago, but the characters are college age when the series starts out.
Its an indie series called Promise by Kristie Cook. |

Lol I'm reading that right now! I realised I had actually started the 1st book a few years back too, but I didn't finish for some reason. Glad I found it again bc there is like no NA that isn't contemporary.

Oh you are? That's awesome. I love the series. I need to buy book 3 and 4. I have 1, 2.
I agree. All NA usually are contemporary, so it's nice to see something that is a little different. As long as the rules of NA are still there, don't see why it can't have paranormal or fantasy in it. |

The OP of this thread is really helpful. I was looking for something a little mature than YA and they have a NA category on Goodreads but it looks like mostly erotica, which I'm not all too into. So I figured that's what NA is, so the clarification in the OP is great.
What are your favorite NA books? __________________

I like NA. But I feel like a lot of them are corny. I have a few issues with the few I've read but I overall enjoy them.
These are the few that I've read: The Secret of Ella and Micha by Jessica Sorensen While It Lasts-Abbi Glines The Hazards of Skinny Dipping - Alyssa Rose Ivy Out of the three I loved Hazards of Skinny Dipping the most. __________________

They are. NA I find are very romance-focused, kinda like YA contemporary romance.
NA usually have a dual pov with male and female POV. I'm reading an NA series right now. It's a continuing series, the True Believers series by Erin McCarthy. |
