Lurlene McDaniel

Does anyone else like Lurlene McDaniel? I started reading her books about a year ago and love most of her work...I was just wondering if there were any other fans here

I've read quite a few of her books. I hate sad stories but Lurlene McDaniel has such a way with words that I found I could not put her books down. It's been awhile since I have read one of her books though.

Do you have a favorite book by her?

I'll have to check those out from the library next time I go. I'll also have to see if they have the one I like. I think it has someone named Katie in it. She was a runner with a bad heart or something like that.

Ahhhh I LOVE Lurlene McDaniel. I hadn't read many of her books in a while, either, and a couple weeks ago I just picked one up at the bookstore...It was the sequel to one I had already read...And I just remembered how fun her books are to read I mean, the stories are often sad, but the reading is easy and enjoyable. It's just the kind of book I read when I don't feel like forcing myself to read something I barely understand.

I'm not sure if I'd read any of her books or not. I"d probably have to see a list of her books to say whether I have or not.

I used to love her books when I was in middle school. But it's a long time since I've read one.

I few years ago I was on a Lurlene McDaniel kick. Haven't read one in a while, but I remember enjoying her books. I would read a chapter before bed to wind down.

I see her books in the library and I always think they look hilariously corny. "Oh my love, I will join you one day in heaven..."

I read her books in junior high and high school - big fan, despite how sad they always were. She is a great writer.

I love Lurlene McDaniel, even if my favorite character usually dies in the end... Telling Christina Goodbye is my favorite by her. The Dawn Rochelle series and Angels trilogy were also very good.

I read a few of these when I was younger and remember really liking them even though they tended to be sad.
