So whoever hosts for the month picks 4-5 books to vote on. They’re supposed to be books you haven’t read. Then there’s a vote. To be fair this book had many accolades. It also had good ratings on Amazon and Good Reads. But yep most of us struggled with wanting to keep reading. In the end I thought it was decent and interesting. But not one I’ll be reccing to anyone.

I remember getting so many book emails featuring this book and it was recommended on so many book sites. I will be skipping.

I guess if you compare 1929 to the War of the Roses, it is modern

It sounds interesting. It has to be better than Five Decembers or this Other Sister book I struggled to read and finish. Lol

Oh wait, I forgot that Maid is the one you haven't read yet. I thought it was the one you did read and hated. So that's why I was like, nope to reading it.

Today was a big thumbs down. I was so mad this morning about work. I basically had to go initiate someone else’s investigation today that was due today. Which meant I had to prep and prepare on the spot to get out there today. It also meant my whole day went to someone else’s work and not getting any of my own done. It’s so unfair. I would never put off something until the last minute and then not bother to come to work and put it on someone else. It’s freaking annoying that some people just don’t care and that some people just procrastinate on stuff and then the rest of us have to do work they procrastinated on. It’s the same people too. Grrrrrrrr
