| Love of women's fiction Hi everyone didn't see a thread for women's fiction, saw one for romance, but not women's fiction. For years I have loved romances, but after reading them for so long, i started to crave more. I was able to predict mo9st of the stories just by reading the back. So then my friend introduced me to Time traveller's wife, i love romance in a story, but this wasn't predictable at all, and I realized it fell under women's fiction. I kept going with reading memoirs of a geisha, tea rose, hadmaiden's tale and realized i loved them all. I've realized although i love romance as part of the story, I like other conflicts, solid charecter developments, and a storyline that is out of the ordinary. I wanted to start a thread appriciating novels such as this.... anyone have more novels to suggest? Anyone read a good woman's fiction recently? Or is there a classic one that should be read by all lover's of women's fiction? To me, an amazing book that might've slipped by everyone is called 'til the stars fall by kathleen gilles seidel. Although they say it can fall under romance, it is by no way a typical romance, it is an amazing story of growth, love, mistakes, regrets, and it is a must read. __________________ Sophies <3 True Love <3 Angel/Buffy/Spike <3 Edward/Bella <3 Harry/Ginny <3 Blair/Nate <3 Dan/Serena <3 Chuck/Blair <3 James/Lily <3 Joe Morelli/Stephanie Plum <3 Derek/Meredith <3 Alex/Izzie Anti-Nate/Serena | |||
