I love it. I actually saw the movie, the most recent one, before I read the book but I love the book. The detail in it is amazing and I think it's just a beautifully written story and is such an amazing read.

Yeah, I LOVE the Shirley Temple movie of it and I also really like the more recent one, too.

It's been ages since I've seen the movie version with Shirley Temple but I know I have it around here somewhere. I thought the new one kept pretty well with the book, given Hollywood's normal artistic liscense that is.

The book was so great. Burnett did such a good job at describing everything, even the doll's clothing, and just placing us in Sarah's world. I also liked the Shirley Temple movie. I want to read the Secret Garden this summer because I never read it.

I've never read it before, either. I have it on my list of books to read.

I thought the movie had elements that I loved and the book had elements that I loved and sometimes they combined them and worked well in both forms. I would say, do both, see and read and you'll get the full, amazing picture of a wonderful story.
