Linda Howard: If you're looking for 'Mr. Perfect', Linda Howard is 'Dying to Please!'

A lame title, I know. But I saw the opportunity to pay homage to two of my favorite books, and I took it .

So, have we any other Linda Howard fans around here? I'm sure that we must, because she honestly is, in my opinion, one of the most fantastic romantic-suspense novelists writing today. I'll admit, many of her newer books have left something to be desired. But, you must admit that when she writes well...she writes really well.

I enjoy her older books. My favorites are After the Night and Shades of Twilight.

I love both of those. But 'Open Season' and 'Mr. Perfect' are my favorites of them all~!

I don't think I've tried those. I might try one. It should be better than Son of the Morning, at least.

There is really no comparison. I hated 'Son of the Morning'. I don't know what it is about this author, but on the rare occasions that she bombs...she REALLY bombs. There have been three that I can think of--her newest one included--that were almost laughably bad.

I was so disappointed in Son of the Morning. I'm glad I wasn't alone. I'll definitely have to look up the two you like, then.
