I read non-fiction. Though I tend to read real life crime novels. I really like history.

Oh awesome- what kind of history have you read?

And what kind of crime novels? I've started to dip my toes in those.

I read some non-fiction, mostly social science stuff and some histories.

I think the last biography I read was about Eleanor Roosevelt. She's a fascinating woman. I went through a period where I read a lot of history books about Victoria England and the time period of the last Tzar of Russia.

A really good true crime-ish book I read is the book the movie Party Monster is based on. It's told by one of the central members of Michael Alig's group, a Club Kid party organizer whose life was sent spiraling down when he bragged on television about killing his drug dealer and roommate. It's really good, but stays with you for a bit. How the writer talks about drugs, death, and murder. He really puts you in that world and you feel like your witnessing it all. At least it was for me, it's a unique writing style.

Oh cool I'll have to check it out.

~*~*~

I'm currently going through my library catalog. It's a binder that I have various tabs for all my genres with the title, author, pages, and publishing year.

I want to see what the longest book I have and read is. After I've found the top 3 books of each genre I want to go through all of the numbers and pick out the final ones with the most as a general list.

So I thought of another semi-weird place where I take a book to read: The gym.

I usually take one on the days when I know I'll do cardio such as on the stationary bike or the treadmill.

That's great.
Does your library have a good selection of books?
