I bought too many books over the weekend to list! I bought several romances at the used bookstore for a quarter each on Friday. Then I went to a library book sale on Saturday and got a bag full of books. After that, I saw a sign for a church flea market, so I bought the complete Dark Is Rising series in one volume there. And finally, the Kidney Transplant Foundation was selling used books at the mall, so I picked up one of Katherine Kurtz's Deryni books there.

jjt, did you know that the Lindskold book has two sequels? They are Wolf's Head, Wolf's Heart and The Dragon of Despair. Also, I'm on another board where Barb and J. C. Hendee post and I saw that they have a sequel coming out in January to Dhampir called Thief of Lives.

I'm hoping I like the books as much as I thought I would reading the jacket cover. Thanks much for the sequel info. If the stories catch me as well as their jacket blurbs ... I'll have to have them.

The Nanny Diaries

Very interesting read. Favourite line from the book:

"Ladies and Gentleman, for the remainder of the show the role of *****ed will be played by Nanny"

Too funny.

Go here to read about the book.

Picture of Dorian Gray (Oscar Wilde), and
White Gardenia by Belinda Alexandra. My mums work had Book Club in, so while I was waiting for her to finish, I browsed White Gardenia. I was hooked and had to buy it!

Philip Pullman's books... though I won't be reading them until Christmas... I'm so busy with the book I'm writing currently.
