I bought a bunch of books over the weekend at library book sales, but half of them are for swapping (I grab popular books to post on the swapping sites so I can earn some extra credits). The ones I got for myself are:
Is Your Cat Crazy? by John C. Wright & Judi Wright Lashnits Sylvester by Georgette Heyer Trouble and Her Friends by Melissa Scott The Door Into Fire by Diane Duane Polar City Blues by Katharine Kerr Harlequin Superromance Celebrates 25 Years- I got this because it has a Margot Early novella in it and I love her books Winter Moon anthology with stories by Mercedes Lackey, Tanith Lee, and C. E. Murphy A Brief History of Time by Stephen Hawking Wired by Liz Maverick (I can't remember if I read this one before or not so I'll check it out and probably post this to trade too) __________________
"For he will not do destruction, if he is well-fed" from the poem "For I will consider my cat Jeoffry" by Christopher Smart- my cat Stuart is a lot like Jeoffry and this made me laugh

I got a book based on Greek (the tv show) and Boys, Girls, and Other Hazardous Materials (by the author who wrote the book Mean Girls was based on)...
I guess I've been in a teen book mood lately. __________________

My birthday was Saturday, so yesterday my grandmother took me to Half Price Books for some birthday shopping and, needless to say, I got quite a few things. It's easy to go a little crazy when you're buying hardbacks in good condition for $5 and the paperbacks are literally half-price. I always think I'm spending more than I actually am and my grandmother has to make me get a few more at the end
Anyway, yesterday I got: The Innocent Mage: Kingmaker, Kingbreaker Book One by Karen Miller Prison Ship by Michael Bowers The Thief Lord by Cornelia Funke The Horus Heresy: False Gods by Graham McNeill The Horus Heresy: Horus Rising by Dan Abnett Classical Budo: The Martial Arts and Ways of Japan by Donn F. Draeger Across the Nightingale Floor by Lian Hearn Brilliance of the Moon by Lian Hearn Evil Star: Book Two of the Gatekeepers by Anthony Horowitz __________________
