Thanks for the linkage.

Yeah I could get into an Adam/Paige thing. So hoping for that actually.

The novellas been updated a few days ago. Two new chapters, and it's starting to get good.

I am loving Clay and Nick togehter, I hope that's developed for the next chapters. To be honest I was getting a bit bored by the plot with Malcolm. I loved Clay's introduction to the world, his experiences of school, and now his finally meeting the pack.

I hope the next novella describes the beginning of Clay and Elena's romance. Kelley said she might if there's enough demand for it.

So have you read it yet? What did you think?

I'm getting really excited at the moment. Stolen is out on 7th august in the UK. So very shortly I will know who this Paige is, and a whole bunch of stuff that's been confusing me.

My US order didn't work out, but amazon.uk is saying Stolen will be dispatching shortly squeeeeee

Which of the books did most people prefer out of Bitten or Stolen?

Not long enough. But I do find Clay's interaction with the pack and his forming friendship with Nick quite interesting. I get the feeling that a bunch of wolves left the pack when Jer took over. I hope she goes into more of what happened later in the online prequel.

I like both for different reasons. I liked the pack structure and the romance storyline in Bitten. But I like the potential of the half demon characters in Stolen.

So as a standalone .. liked Bitten better. As a potential for a series .. Stolen.

Like the Blake series .. the characters really work for me in this series. Adam could be a real fav if he's developed a bit more.

Congrats .. and yeah we'll have to dish as soon as you've read it.

I'll have to check amazon about when the next one is coming out. I'm thinking I'll probably have to have it shipped from canada.

I haven't read all of Stolen so far. I'm up to where Elenea is kidnapped and being shown around. So far I'm enjoying it. But damn something about the book just comes alive when Clay and Jeremy arrived. Elena interacting with all those new people just couldn't grab me in the same way. I'm not madly keen on Paige. I don't think she's interesting enough to carry a book at all, I guess time will tell. Adam seems cool, his anger suggested hidden layers.

I just live for the moments when Elena and Clay are interacting, whether with sex or heavying people. Is it just me, or is she killing a lot more freely now? Not that I'm complaining, go Elena

It's not just you. She seems more at peace with her nature now. And yeah dead on what you said about the book came alive when Jer and Clay showed up. The Pack really have my attention and affection. The other characters were interesting .. and Adam has big potential to me. The others we'll see.

I'm up to Clay rescuing Elena, and she's just told Paige about Ruth's death.

Funniest bit was when Elena was being questioned about Clay. She is thinking please don't let them ask about his bedroom performance, and Leah asks if they sleep together as wolfs. The way the slightly tipsy women cracked up so much they had hiccups, and Elena says "This cheese is very good" just about killed me. I was snorting with laughter, good thing I wasn't reading that part on the tube

I loveed Elena' reunion with Clay the most, but was anyone else kind of surprised at Jeremy listening in. You know when they're making love, and afterwards when discussing if it's safe to sleep Jeremy from a distance says he'll guard them. I wouldn't want Jeremy listneing if that were me as sex is so private, but I guess it's not a problem for them? I loved Clay and Elena in the shower, and eating in bed together yum

Grossest bit was the mutt that was stuck between forms, and the graphic description of his change. I was willing him to change all the way, it was just nasty. And Baucer's (sp?) becoming a werewolf was pretty grim too. I wanted to slap her when she blamed Elena for it all, but I was still hoping the pack could help her.

Regarding the new characters, I like the little girl so far, and Adam. Still don't care for Paige. It's not that I hate her, she just doesn't hold my interest enough to narrate a book. Oh well

And it would have been nice for Nicky and Antonion to at least have cameo appearances, considering this is the last book to concentrate on the pack.

Also I'm confused. Elena's dream of Clay and Cassendra (who is a bitch), and his talk with Jeremy seemed very real. Was she somehow really there through witchcraft? It all seemd to be dismissed as a dream, what did other people think?

It's been a couple of months since I last read this book so I'm not sure I remember all the details of that scene. Was it dismissed as a dream? I can certainly picture a skeptic Clay shrugging it off as one. But I'm pretty sure the whole thing was some form of astral projection involving the Elena-Paige connection.

I was sort of relieved that Bauer didn't make it. It wouldn't have seemed fair otherwise for her to survive the werewolf process so easily. I like to think Elena survived because of her combative attitude(from tough childhood) and Jeremy's intervention...which contributed in making her a unique case. Bauer didn't have any of that going for her, so I couldn't really picture her being able to withstand the werewolf stuff---which in the end she didn't.

It was just seen by Elena as a dream, and didn't seem to be followed up on at all. But like I said I've reached the bit where she was rescued, and there's a bit with Cassandra saying she's glad Elena's back and CLay's hand tightens in Elena's. Implied to me that there was truth in the dream opr whatever it was. I was just curious over wheter we should take that scene as having actually happened.

Talking of Bauer, she did survive the transformation, her problem was losing her sanity afterwards, which is more or less what happened to Elena at first. So I wouldn't necessarily say Elena was the only female werewolf who could have coped with it or anything. Bauer could maybe have survived if she wasn't being kept prisioner, if she had reached the pack with Elenea who knows what may have happened?

If she reached the Pack that would have been scary. I could just picture Bauer arguing with Jeremy over women's rights and trying to oust Clay as successor to the Pack Alpha. It would be a regular Family Feud over there.
