Yay! I just finished reading all the books that are out so far and immediately made my way over here to see if there was a thread for it. I love love love these books, and yes, like it was mentioned up-thread, I like that it has sort of a different take on vamps. I didn't really like what's-his-name from the Sookie Sackhouse series, the weretiger, and I wasn't in the Jacob-camp with Twilight, but I'm totally in love with Curran.

Thanks for the info about the Ilona Andrews site. I am off to go look at it and will also go to the couples thread.

I just finished the books, and I loved them!

They're different from what I've read before. They're more violent than I'm used to, but it worked in the context of the book, it wasn't pointless violence and gore. And the world described by Ilona is fascinating: the woman sure has imagination!

The books keep getting better, the third was my favorite. I loved all the characters, especially Kate. It's so hard to find a good heroine these days, but she is really great. And now, I can't wait for the next book!

I love Kate, because she's awesome and hilarious. I love Curran because he's hot(

) and because underneath all that bravado there's a normal guy who wants Kate!

I also love Andrea and Rafael, and their almost-relationship! I hope they get together too! And I had a soft spot for Julie and Derek from book two, I was giggling when I saw I wasn't crazy in the third one!

Like I said, there are too many great characters!
