June Book of the Month: Mitch Albom's The Five People You Meet in Heaven

Alright everyone, the tribe has spoken and beating Tolstoy's Anna Karenina by one vote is The Five People You Meet in Heaven by Mitch Albom. Feel free to talk about this book as soon as you read it, you don't have to wait until June to do so.
I have not yet read this book so it looks like I'm making a trip to my local library and picking up a copy tomorrow morning.
Happy reading!

I read this book some time ago. I loved it. On the short side, I finished it within a good hour or so.

Comment...

This books is definitly one of my favorites... and IMO it's a must read. That's why I voted for it...

There are many reason why I like "The five people..." so much:
  1. The title - the title is just great!
  2. The way it's written is really touching. You cannot not feel with the character.
  3. You are always interested in who is going to be the next person.

This book made me really think about my actions and how they affect people. And I experienced myself that even people you only meet once in your life can leave an imprint in your heart!

I know, sappy...

Oh I read this book awhile ago and I really enjoyed it. I think I'm going to go read it again, so that I can join in with the discussion.

I just checked my local library, and there are no available copies yet, but there are plenty that are due by the end of May, so I'll definitely check it out.

I read it about a year and a half ago and I can only say: good choice. It's one of the most touching books I've ever read. It made me crie. I can only recommend it to everyone.

I read this book a couple of summers ago, but it was extremely touching and reccommended it to a bunch of people. I was excited when I found out they were making a movie.

IMO, all books are better than their movies, but I still thought the movie was pretty good. Has anyone else seen it?
