Jack Reacher

i was just wondering if any of you folk had read the Jack reacher thrillers by Lee Child. he is such an underrated author, i love his books! but like i said no one my age seems to know what i'm talking about so i thought i'd ask you book worms. btw i am also a book worm so don't be offended. anyway Jack Reacher is an epic hero, he's an ex military cop whose now a drifter, he drifts around the states of america and lands himself into trouble. as Lee Child says, trouble has a habit of finding him. so what have any of you read them?

Hi,

Just new to the board and saw a thread on Jack Reacher and was so excited. Then I saw that there were no replies and the thread was started in 2006 I was so sad because I totally agree with how awesome the Jack Reacher series is ilovemereallyido!!

I eagerly wait for the next book as soon as I finish the last one. Counting down the days currently til "Nothing To Lose" in released!!

I can't recommended Lee Child as a author highly enough if you like thrillers, and an awesome hero!!

To be honest series books with the same main character don't intrest me that much. I like new exciting characters.

Anyway, i read a Jack Reacher novel Die Trying randomly as I read the back in a store once and thought it sounded good. It was very good. Then after reading it I realised he's the main character of all of the books. Though having read some of the blurbs of the books, they all seem very dull and bland, while Die Trying was brilliant.

Lee Child is a good writer though. If you like the kind of 'one man thriller' then he's definately the author for you.
