First book was definitely the best!

But I really really loved the 2nd as well. For different reasons.

As far as movies though I think I actually preferred #2 to #1 because of the characters and the plot seemed to go a bit faster.

Movie 3 was actually good too me! I didnt enjoy movie 4 a much as I was hoping to but it was also good, I need to rewatch it.

Book 3 I hated though, I honestly couldnt even pay attention to it as I read it.
