I can't wait for the 3rd book, it's going to be amazing!

You guys start reading up on the first one, cause it's fantastic, and the second one is just as good, if not better!!

Ann - What's on your cover? I like the US covers, but I love UK ones.

They were wolves created to have human-like qualities that resembled the other tributes (their eyes and the color of their fur) to psych out Katniss even more.

Belle - Thanks for that. I thought they were the tributes, who got turned into wolves in a freaky experiment

I have those covers as well, well the first book. There's another cover of the first book with Peeta.

I saw that one a while ago, but most of them have Katniss on the cover now.

And there is another of the first book where you can actually pull it out and you can switch if you want Katniss or Peeta on the cover. I've never seen that one before.

Those are the covers I really like, especially the drawings of Katniss and Peeta.

And there's a pic of the reversible cover flap here, but I wish I could see it for real.

Those covers look a lot darker and more serious than the US ones. I like both, but the designs of the US ones I think are really identifiable.

I just bought the first book a couple days ago and have started reading it, so I won't be around for a while since I don't want to be spoiled, but so far, I'm really enjoying it. It's a surprisingly complex book, especially when it comes to morals. I mean, the fact that Katniss and Peeta know each other (I'm at the part where they're on the train traveling to the Capital) but also the fact that she basically owes him for her life and the life of her family, makes her have an interesting moral dilemma and I can't wait to see how that is approached later on in the book. Anyway, I'm excited to read it, and will be back in a few days to take part in the discussion.
