I just finished Catching Fire.

My fav characters are katniss and Peeta.

I sooo want them to end up together.
I like Gale fine and all, but my heart belongs to Peeta! I think in this book, she realized her feelings for Peeta, like how she would feel if he died. And he kills me everytime he tells her, she is his whole world!

Peeta is so sweet. I hope he gets a happy ending in the last book.

I loved that he held Katniss when they fell asleep and I loved the beach scene when they were guarding in CF.

He better not die. I won't like that at all

Haymitch might die, as i think SC mentioned there would be deaths... oh now, thats not a surprise

But even Kat mentioned in CF that she would be inrepariable. broken... if he died. Plus i need they are gonna need to team together if they are gonna bring down the capitol for good.

Katniss needs to go on a rescue mission the next book.

I think Haymitch has a good possibility of being killed off, too. I love his surliness though...makes great quotes in the books. I'm half expecting/dreading that she'll kill off Peeta or Gale just to make Katniss' choice easier.

Unless Peeta manages to find a way to escape, like work out a plan with the others

Yeah, i have that fear too.. which would be taking the easy way out.. and would look stupid, I wouldn't like that.

He only has Johanna with him, right? The ending left so many questions unanswered.

Yeah, I wouldn't really like it if either one of them died.

I love these books!

When I realized that the second one was out when I went to the bookstore I literally squealed and this guy who was standing there looked at me really funny.

And Peeta can't die... that would be just, well wrong

I added you to the list, Ann. I like both Peeta and Gale, and I like Katniss with both of them. If I had to choose though I would pick Peeta and Katniss. I really hope she doesn't kill off Peeta.

I just started reading The Hunger Games last night and today, and already by chapter three, the book had me tearing up. I'm sitting at work and can't wait to be done so I can continue reading

I didn't have a ton of interest in this book originally, so I'm really happy that I'm turning out to like it so well.
