Sadly, it seems to always take a long time for me to read anything now. I used to be a good reader, i love reading... I work at a bookstore for goodness sake!

I've been so busy, always doing so much (including work), it seems to have lessened my attention span or something. Even if i really like a book, i can't seem to just sit and read it. I always feel like i have too many other things to do. So on the rare chances i get to sit and read, i can't even read that much.

Once I can get into a book without any distractions I can get through one with about 4 hundred pages in a few hours.

it depends on how much i like the book...if i'm really into it i can read a 300 page book in one night...but if i don't really like it, it will usually take me a long time...

I'm exactly the same way. I used to read for hours and hours, though, and now I always do other things and don't seem to have enough time for my books...

Yeah depends on the book i guess too.. But I usually finish reading a book in a few hours or something... And if I really like it, I won't put it down anyways, so I guess it doesn't take me too long..

Fast would be five hours toward a full day, or sometimes 3-4 days.

It depends with me too. How much time I have, if I can get into the book or not. I think the shortest time I finished a book was 5-6 hours. Average usually a day to 2 or 3 days if I don't have much time. I think the longest would of been about a week. No I take that back I think there was a book that took me 2 weeks to finish because I couldn't get into it.

It depends on a lot of factors really.

If I'm in a big reading mood and I like what I'm reading, I can read it in 24/48 hours. On occasion, I read books in less than 12 hours. But almost always those are shorter books.

If I'm not in a huge reading mood, and distracted easily, than it could take a up to a week, even if I like what I'm reading, I just read slower sometimes.

Sometime's It'll be more of a combination. I'll be taking a few days, but then I'll get the motivation to just sit and finish the rest of the book in one sitting.

If I LOVE a book I will usually finish it in 2-3 days (say a 300-500 page book) .. Between work and spending time with my daughter, I usually only have time to read at night With no distractions, I could easily read my entire day away and finish a book in one day!

It depends on the type of book and what kind of mood I am in most of the time. Same writer but to different series and both the same length and I was enjoying both books and one took about 3 hrs and the other almost a day to read.

I always have to tell myself when I am reading a book that is slow going to not give up because it usally ends up being worth it in the end.
