Wow, it seems as if most of the vampire books I've read or are reading have been optioned for movies or TV series.

I've only read the first two books, and then stopped for awhile. I keep trying to read the third, but other books just keeps coming up. Hah.

I bought the first book, read it, and thought it was just Meh. Then I bought the second book and it was a lot better, and I just got hooked from there and bought all the others. They get better every time!

I prefer Zoey and Stark tbh Don't know how that's gonna turn out, though, haha! But Heath is so sweet to her, too!

I love this series,and i was on a webchat with the authors and they answered three of my questions. It was class. Someone asked how many books was she planning to make in this series and she said about 12! :O

Yeah, I'm afraid the market is going to become inundated with poorly made movies and TV shows about teenage vampires all because of Twilight and its success, which is unfortunate. I don't know why everyone wants to turn books into movies and TV shows. Perhaps no one can come up with an original idea anymore.

I think part of it might be that the film industry has realised that young adult books are easily marketed as movies, so they jump at chances to do that. The teenage market is supposed to be one of the most powerful.

I got into these books (I am a fan of the Twilight series) purely based on the covers of the books The UK ones are really simple and pretty and I thought I'd give them a go since the books were on a special offer (3 for 2)... and I kind of got hooked.

I've just picked up Marked again for a re-read while waiting for Tempted to come out... and realized that it's one of those books where a lot and at the same time not so much happens.

I thought the plan was for the series to be 10 books

Yeah, I've finished reading Marked and began reading Betrayed. I like the series so far but I kind of just "spoiled" myself about Stevie Rae after coming here!

I've just finished Chosen, and by now I can say I'm hooked. The first book was kind of slow and it took me a while to get used to the style of the writing, but starting with the second book I really enjoyed it. I really love Zoey, even though the girl clearly needs to take a break from dating. But she reminds me a lot of myself, so I find her portrayal as a confused teen realistic (I can't even remember the number of times I liked several guys at the same time but I didn't date all of them at the same time, thankfully ) So far I don't have a favorite pairing. I find Heath seriously annoying, Eric is just meh, and of course, Loren is evil! I'm hoping this Stark guy is better. Oh, and I'm also loving Aphrodite. I hope she'll be okay.
I'm off to finish the fourth book, I'll come back with more opinions later!
