Another book that changed my life was The Hite Report on the Family: Growing Up Under Patriarchy by Shere Hite. It made me look at the world in a different way.

Hmmm, the only way i think a book has changed my life is that The Giver got me actually into books. I'm so glad that i'm one of those people that actually like to read books. I think it made me better at school and other such things.

The closest a book has ever come to changing my life is The Lovely Bones by Alice Sebold. And that's because the book really touched my heart and spoke to me. I cried a lot reading it. And it showed me that you can move on and be brave and just enjoy life.

It's one of my fav books.

i just finished it and i found it amazing! its the 1st book that actually made me cry. i think its becasue its so raw and full of emotion especially the last 5 chapters or so. its a very beautiful book and all the characters r so real.

The Bible, The Survivor's Club, & anything by Nicholas Sparks. All of these have touched me so much...

I wouldn't say that any one book has really changed my life, but I can certainly remember what book I was reading at the time in my life when certain major events happened...so in that way there are certain books that are tied with really huge emotional impacts for me, although not because of the content in their pages.

I did my english 12 term paper on Roots, and The Autobiography of Malcolm X, and it didn't exactly change my life, or the way i live, but it made me question alot about my own race, being caucasian. I'm completely anti racism, but after hearing so many bad things spoken about white people, i started to wonder what makes my race act superior to other races.

Also, The Lovely Bones made me think of heaven in a different way.

The book that has really changed my life is Dune. Reading it was a lifetime experience for me, it changed the way in which I view life in a drastic manner... there's only one word for this book and that is: brilliance.

I thought of another: Arabs & Israel for Beginners by Ron David. Yikes. It completely changed my entire world view.

Kay I've read like tons of books and in a way they all have changed my life for at least a week! when i read a book i feel as though i am the charater whether its a child an adult a boy a girl whatever i'm that character! All the books i read have either given me a different point of view on something or I've learnt from the characters mistakes!

To Kill a Mockingbird had a huge impact on me when I read in back when I was 16. It opened my eyes to the evil that hate and descrimination can cause.

Go Ask Alice was another book that had a huge impact on me because it wasn't fiction and showed the results that drugs could have on your life. The way you see this girls world start to fall apart as you read really had an affect on me.
