The covers give you a kids vibe, so you don't imagine how dark they got in the end.

Yeah, that's true.. Plus it seems that the first book was light and enjoyable til it start to get dark and darker..

Yeah I guess as they grew up, the story turner darker. But I think it worked better like that.

Oh yeah, I heard about the epilogue.. Maybe they wish that they don't want to know if they have the kids or something like that..

I think it boils down to some people don't like how everything is lined out. I guess people like a more open end books where you can use your imagination. Honestly I rather know everything.
