I tend to update it late too. Sometimes I finish a book and realized I never added to the currently reading on GR

A lot of times if it's a author I've never read or a book I'm not sure about I'll wait after a few chapters to see if I want to read it before I put on GR.

I have that same issue. I have a a genre style I like to read, the London style 1800s murder mystery, but you can discover so many different authors when you like a genre, and sometimes I can't get into a book.

Or you start reading but don't get but a chapter in and something happens and you have to put it off or you don't feel like reading it.
