| I remember this book. I don't know if I read it when I was a kid, but a couple years ago we had to do this project for English where we brought in things that were traditional in our family or whatever. One of my classmates brought in this book because his grandmother used to read it to him and he read it to us. That sparked this idea with my teacher where we all brought in our favorite childrens' books and read them to the class. Then we had to think of a thought-provoking question to present to the class about it. (We had to write a 1-page response to each question.) It was an interesting concept, even if it did take us forever to get through the whole class. __________________ + Susan "Everything I've touched has been diminished." | |||
