I actually think Rosamund Pike will be a great Amy. Not sure about Affleck as Nick - but I hated Nick in the book and I'm not to fond of Affleck so I guess it'll work lol.

Right? I almost hate it when a book I like gets turned into a movie because I know it will not be cast right and that ruins it for me. Example, I have a love/hate relationship with the hunger games movies because while I adore Josh Hutcherson and Jennifer Lawrence they are not Katniss & Peeta for me.

^ I feel the same way w/ Hunger Games even tho I have to admit that I have different people in my mind for the whole casts when I was reading after I saw the movie Catching Fire.. But they did good job.. I think that it happened when it comes to movies that came from the books which that's understandable..

Not everyone will agree about casting, as you have a certain image in your head, but I feel for an adaption, you just enjoy this vision and these actors for the characters. They may not be your choice, but they are a variation of the characters.
