Finding Notes In Books.

I was at the library the other day and I opened a book up to read the first few lines and a note fell out. It was written from one woman to another and it was about how this woman had read a whole stack of books because she'd been stuck at home sick.
It's the first time I've ever seen a note in a book, although my friend has found a lot.
Has anyone else seen a note or anything else unusual in a book they've borrowed?

I bought a used book and there was a card with the Virgin Mary on it and on the other side it had some kind of passage.

I read my mother's copy of the Shining and my Dad wrote notes on a lot of the pages about how she should put the book down and go to sleep or put the book down and spend time with him. It would actually have been really cute if I didn't read the book after my parents bitter divorce.

I bought a book and I read it and I didnt find anything in it but then I packed it cause we were moving houses and when I opened it again there was a picture of a woman inside it, the picture wasnt well half of it was black but it scared the hell out of me, it still spooks me out cause I dont know how it got in there and my parents had never seen it before! No notes though!

I've found a couple St. cards in some books, and scraps of notes that have been used for bookmarks. I have found a lot of notes in textbooks but those are mainly school notes, some have had some interesting doodles on them though.

~Unfaithful~ aww

hmm I can only think of finding study notes in library text books.
I once took out a Star Wars art book and found someone's sketch doodle of one of the aliens on that page.

That's really scary!

I remember when I used to borrow "The Baby-Sitters Club" books from the library when I was little, I used to find the diary entry pages in the back all filled in. It was pretty exciting to read what other children thought of the book.

We used to have drawing books in our school library and my friends and I would always find sketches inside them that people had been working on. I don't think I've ever found a sketch outside of the drawing books though.
Oh, I've also found a lot of magazine insert cards, the card stock sheets people sent in to renew their subscription, that people have used as bookmarks.

Hmm, I imagine that if you checked out any PostSecret book by: Frank Warren, you'd find some pretty interesting notes.

It is creepy, for a time I took it with me everywhere, showed the picture to everyone I knew to see if they knew who it was but no one knew, it would have been so much better if the picture wasnt half-black!
