i dont know though I'm not sure it would take away because she build a storyline on it for 6 books (more actually) and it was what mac was going through at that point in her life,but not shes discovering new info about it.

so if alina does happen to be alive mac still thought she was dead. she still mourned her and went through that.

plus her thinking alina was dead was a good thing because it introduced her to barons and this world.

That's very true Her death served the purpose in introducing Mac to the world and she grew up in the process.

If she's alive it's not that she's been alive the whole time. She was bought back from the dead. She was definitely dead for that year. The question is is she really there and alive now and was bought back from the dead or is it some trick.

I'm leaning towards the first. That's what all the evidence is pointing to. This Alina knows everything. Plus her coffin was empty and she "woke" up in the clothes that she was buried in. And has no memory and very confused. I found it interesting that the Alina remember being attacked and next she was standing in the middle of Temple Bar confused. That was the moment Mac saw it. Further evidence that Mac unknowingly resurrected her.

I finished!!! the ending jada/mac scene was sweet but a little bit forced imo. i felt like it kind of happened too quickly.

can someone please explain to me who shazam is? tbh i kind of skim over those parts LOL
