I agree. Its def my least favourite book. While I did like Grimm, and the more times I re-read it, it got better, but it def felt lacking.

Alex, Yeah, I don't think those books are for you. You don't seem to be of a PNR/Historical romance.
Yeah, in the 2nd book, It was mainly about Grimm finding happiness, because there was no Adam, No mention of any Fae things. |

I have to agree about the 2nd book. I wasn't really a big fan of the first one either. Though I have reread them recently and love them more than I did before. But even after saying that I agree that the 2nd one doesn't seem to really fit. The only thing I feel connects it to the the Highlander series is the characters from the first one appear in it (minus Adam).

I never understood what the berskers or whatever they were. The book just felt very out of place.
I do remember that Karen said she had a different ending for it but she didn't remember what it was and had lost the original. __________________
