Ruta's book is getting a new paperback cover and now I wish I held off on buying the book so I could've got this cover. It's beautiful.

I normally don't really like covers with photographs on them, but I have to admit that is a pretty good looking cover!

 The only thing I prefer with book covers is that they aren't solid colors with just words across the front. I like some kind of image. __________________

Oh that's is a very different looking cover, both in colours, concept and atmosphere. I do think it's pretty as well though
I tend to like more abstract covers. The last book I finished had a stunning cover, in my opinion (although the book wasn't that amazing  ):  __________________

^ They say don't judge a book by its cover, but unfortunately that doesn't only work in the 'sometimes a good book has a bad cover' direction, but also the other way around. Although it was still enjoyable, I liked it alright, but I love the cover a whole lot more

I am trying to think back if I ever read a good book with a terrible cover. Nothing's coming to mind. I should go through my Goodreads list.

I found these books with nice covers.
But the top two are a case where I like the covers but the stories didn't measure up for me.   And Alias Grace is one where I love the story but the cover isn't the prettiest ever  __________________
