 Surprisingly enough I have never read the book. In high school our teacher let us watch the 6 hour miniseires instead (which I've been told is very very close to the book). It's been on my list since then. I'll probably track down a copy after I finish reading Chicagoland Vampires series. __________________

I didn't read it in high school, I don't think. But when I was in London in 05 I found a copy in the place In was staying at, and read it.

It would of been 05 if we had to read it in school (senior year and our teacher let us slack off so much at this point. Funny since it was an AP class and his advance and standard classes did more work than us.

I bought a new copy and will start it tonight. I haven't read this book in years, but I've watched both the Keira Knightly movie and the 90s mini-series about a billion times since thing. So it's going to be weird getting back into the original.

I'm not sure if it just me but I find the book so far kind a little hard to read. I think it might be that I'm not used to the writing style.
