Cut - Patricia McCormick

Has anyone ever read the book Cut by Patricia McCormick?

I heard it was good but I was just wondering if anyone can give me some real feedback.

It was a great book. I read it in like a day. I couldn't put the book down.
I do suggest that you read it. : )

I read this book a few years ago and would also recommend it. It's a very quick read and it covers the topic of cutting in an emotional but subtle way. I liked the way the author puts the reader in the position of the psychiatrist.

I didn't dislike it as intensely as I did Levenkron's books but I thought it rather forgettable and not as realistic in terms of the self-injurious behavior. I found it funny how quickly she was able to stop self-injuring. *shrugs* To each his own.

I suggest reading it as well. I read the book in a day, it was amazing. It was hard to put down, and it seemed quite realistic to me.

I read it quite a long time ago and don't remember all of the details. However, I do remember being slightly unimpressed. It's short and you'll be able to fly through it, but the ending isn't as satisfying as it could have been.

I agree. The whole reasoning behind it was a bit too simple.

I read this a while ago now and I still have the same feelings to it, it didn’t go in deph as much as it could have. I don’t know, in my opinion it wasn’t one of the better books I read but it wasn’t the worst either. I just think that there could have been a little bit more behind it. It’s all in the eyes of the reader.
